The postwar economic boom sees worldwide demand for the Japanese Akoya and the "Biwa" pearl increase. The company ventures to Japan, establishing itself in the port city of Kobe.

Sensing a demand for the new "South Sea" variety of cultured pearls, Belpearl travels the South Pacific, specializing in working directly with producers of  naturally Black, White and Gold South Sea pearls.

Belpearl works with Japanese Freshwater pearl producers to revive production, resulting in the Kasumiga pearl. The world's first naturally pink freshwater cultured pearl from Japan.

Joining the world's most outstanding jewelers and auction houses, Belpearl becomes an exhibitor to the exclusive Messe Basel Show in Switzerland.
